Things to know about Concerts:
When Students need to dress up for a concert or special event:
Students should wear “Sunday’s Best”. Students should dress nicely and wear something that is appropriate for a concert. Dress shoes should be worn.
( NO JEANS, NO SWEAT PANTS, NO SHORTS, NO GYM SHOES, NO DANGLE JEWELERY[for string players], and NO PERFUME/COLOGNE)
Girls:
Tops: blouse, sweater, or button up shirt (shirts must have sleeves, no tank-tops or spaghetti straps)
Bottoms: Can wear dresses and skirts (MUST BE BELOW or AT THE KNEE) but also have the option to wear pants. Leggings are NOT to be worn as pants (can be worn under a dress or skirt).
Boys:
Tops: Short or long sleeved button up collard shirts (ties are encouraged but not necessary), polo’s are also acceptable choices, sweaters, suit coats, etc. Shirts should be tucked in and belts should be worn.
Bottoms: Dockers/khakis, dress slacks, corduroys (NO JEANS or athletic wear)
When students are wearing White tops & Black Bottoms:
1.) White tops:
MEN: a PLAIN WHITE short or long sleeved button up shirt, or a PLAIN WHITE polo are also acceptable choices
WOMEN: A PLAIN WHITE blouse, sweater, or button up shirt (shirts must have sleeves, no tank-tops or spaghetti straps)
2.) Black bottoms:
Men: Black dress pants (dockers or dress slacks)
WOMEN: Plain black dress pants, 3/4 length are good as well, plain black skirts (must be below the knee!)
* NO BLACK JEANS, NO SWEAT PANTS, NO SHORTS, and LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS (so NO LEGGINGS)
